Psyllium Husks

What is Psyllium?
Psyllium Husk is a natural food from the seed of the Plantago Ovata plant. It is rich in dietary fibre to support digestive health. A 9g serving provides 28% of your RDI of fibre, that’s 10 times more than oat bran.

Psyllium Husk Benefits
Digestive Detox – Psyllium is often used as a colon cleaner, its soluble fibres have an ability to absorb excess water in the gut, removing waste and toxins.
Appetite Suppressant – the spongy husks swell in liquid and when taken internally can reduce appetite by making you feel full.
Low Carb Diets – It is very difficult to get enough fibre when you eliminate the carbs from cereals, grains and fruits. Psyllium is recommended as a fibre supplement for Atkins-style diets.

Mix 1tsp with at least 250ml of water or other fluid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking.
